You will manage a department of 50 staff and £4m budget who undertake a wide range of environmental tests on aircraft equipment.
Using your leadership skills, youll be responsible for the strategic development of the business units capabilities through performance management, skills development and setting a vision for your team
Your responsibilities will include Safety, Operational Excellence, Customer Experience, Technology & Service Excellence and People Excellence
This will involve capacity and site planning, identification of staff training and development requirements, capital equipment investment and process improvements
Youll need a proven management background within a technical environment, preferably engineering or scientific, where staff development, leadership and mentoring are your primary skills
A knowledge of safety lead environments which includes the handling and storage of potentially dangerous materials, chemical and gases would be a distinct advantage
