Youll be taking precision CAD models and creating 3D engineering drawings, complete with accurate GD&T specifications suitable for manufacturing
Your component and sub-assemblies are used in a highly complex mechanism to save lives so its important they are right first time, using the best of materials and made to extremely tight tolerances
Youll need an engineering qualification to HNC, HND or BSc level combined with 12-18 months of commercial CAD design experience, ideally using Siemens NX or other 3D CAD system and Teamcenter
A knowledge of precision CNC machining and modern manufacturing methods will be highly beneficial
