The company is a leading housebuilder committed to creating exceptional communities and homes that exceed our customers' expectations. They are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Billingshurst and lead the infrastructure and civils aspects of our projects.
Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
- Work in a team of engineers to design, coordinate and deliver the infrastructure and civils aspects of their projects.
- Ensure the engineering designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the technical aspects of the construction process and liaise with contractors and other stakeholders.
- Maintain project schedules and budgets for infrastructure and civils works.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure engineering requirements are met across all areas of the business.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Engineering Manager Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure and civils aspects of residential or commercial construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
