The company is a leading construction company that specializes in delivering high-quality, sustainable building projects across the UK. They are looking for a talented and experienced Design Manager to join our team in London.

As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design process of our high-rise developments projects across London. You will work closely with our clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects are designed to meet their requirements and exceed their expectations. The projects are predominantly high-rise developments, so experience in this area would be highly desirable.

Key responsibilities as the Design Manager:

  • Manage the design process of high-rise development projects across London
  • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are designed to meet their requirements and exceed their expectations
  • Ensure that all designs meet building regulations and are delivered to the highest quality standards
  • Manage the design review process and ensure that all designs are approved by the client and other stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate design risks
  • Continuously improve the design process and implement best practices

Successful Design Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a design management role in the construction industry, with experience in high-rise developments
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of design principles, building regulations, and construction methods for high-rise developments
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
