The Role:
In the Structural Engineer role you'll report into the Head of Major Projects and be working within the Major Projects teams across the South East. Ultimately your responsibility will be to ensure designs submitted by clients meet all criteria, and where needed attend site to complete inspections.

Specific tasks include:

  • Complete reviews from philosophy to calculations on high-rise and/or high-value projects.
  • Offer technical advice and support to developers/contractors.
  • On-going liaison with Project Managers.
  • Completion of site inspections as required.

This is a home-based role with site inspections within the South-East.

The standard working hours for this role are 8.30am - 5pm.

The successful Structural Engineer:

You will need to possess direct experience of Structural Engineering and be a Qualified Engineer.

Additionally, it would be advantageous to possess;

  • Experience of high-rise construction builds.
  • An understanding of the Insurance and Warranty sector.

We need you to be able to travel throughout your designated area and hold a full UK driving license.

What's on offer for the appointed Structural Engineer?
The basic salary for the Structural Engineer role is up to £62,000 per annum (DOE) and a location allowance based on your home address.
