The Company:

With a UK wide presence in the Insurance and Warranty sector this company are award winning (quite literally) and as such are always looking for talented Building Inspectors or Building Control Surveyors to join them. With an in-house training team they focus on developing the team they have in place, and offering all the support those joining them are usually longing for.

The Role:

Based from home, but covering a geographical patch within the Hertfordshire area, you’ll have autonomy to manage your own day and complete site inspections at all key stages of the construction projects.

It will be your purpose to ensure works comply with UK Building Regulations and the Companies technical manuals – reporting back on this, and offering advice to site teams.

Additionally, you’ll be a huge part of a Regional team – meaning you’ll never feel isolated.

To be successful in the role of Building Inspector:

  • You may be Chartered (CABE, RICS, CIOB or via an Engineering route), but if not you’d be looking to become Chartered with the right support.
  • You should have a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and ideally the Insurance sector.
  • You must have experience within; Building Inspection, Building Control, Clerk of Works roles, or Construction.
  • A can-do attitude, with the ability to communicate with others and work as part of a team.
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle.
