The Role:
In the Building Control Project Manager role ultimately your responsibility will be to ensure Projects (ranging from domestic to commercial construction works) are carried out in adherence to Building Regulations.

Specific tasks include:

  • Overseeing building regulation applications.
  • Ensure projects are monitored accurately and in adherence to technical manuals, by liaising closely with Building Inspectors and offering them technical guidance.
  • Take part in pre and post design negotiations with the client.
  • Be an integral role in negotiations and resolutions in terms of; initial notices, design approvals, site works and final certificates.

This is a home-based role but you will ideally be based in the South-West.

The standard working hours for this role are 8.30am - 5pm.

The successful Building Control Project Manager:

You will need to possess direct experience of Building Control and be Chartered (CABE, RICS, CIOB...).

Additionally you must have experience within the Project Management element of Building Control.
