Overview:
- Strong FMCG manufacturing background within food
- Managed up to 8 direct reports with teams of between 350 and 600
- Likes to be on the factory floor said "you cannot know what’s going on without being at the coal face"
- Has hands on experience implementing changes on site and bringing staff round to new ideas or working
- Is happy with site leader level has been at director and board level and didn’t suit him as he doesn’t like being behind a desk too much
- Managed everything from top down – operations as well as P & L
- Holds nor formal Lean/CI qualifications but has implemented new PPM’s and procedures on sites to improve production
- Has union experience and in his last role they were in the process of bringing these on to site
