Chief Architect / Chief Technology Engineer - Midlands - £90-110k + bonus + benefits

We’re looking for an experienced technologist to join the Midlands Leadership Team as our client's Chief Engineer / Chief Technology Engineer.

You will be adept at conveying a technical vision to clients and staff alike, thanks to your gravitas and infectious passion for technology. The role You will have a broad, hands-on knowledge of software delivery across multiple disciplines such as development, test, architecture and infrastructure as well as a creative and innovative mindset. You will be self-managing, able to prioritise work based on regional needs and manage your time between multiple undertakings at any time.

An important aspect of the role will be ensuring that local client delivery remains technically strong, innovative, and stays abreast with the latest thinking. As part of the wider chief engineers group you will help progress the quality agenda across the business, supporting and driving technical initiatives both locally and across the organisation. The role requires a significant degree of self-management and the ability to identify priorities for the Midlands region.

A proportion of the role will likely be focussed on a mixture of client-delivery as a technology consultant. You’ll need to be experienced enough to know what’s needed, where to apply yourself, and present gravitas to clients to be able to extract yourself from deliverable work as needs arise.
