Our client is a pioneering diesel generator business who, due to expansion within their service department, is seeking to build a team of talented Diesel Generator Field Service Engineers to join the growing and dynamic company.

This Diesel Generator Field Service Engineer opportunity is only available through Renew Consultancy!

Due to sustained business growth, we are keen to speak with Diesel Generator Field Service Engineers to work on a range of generator sets, where you will enjoy the variety of technical challenges that arise from performing maintaining, troubleshooting, fault-finding, and problem resolution.

The successful Diesel Generator Field Service Engineers will possess mechanical & electrical engineering skills, with prior experience servicing, fault finding, and maintaining genset equipment such as FG Wilson, KOHLER / SDMO, CAT, MAN, MTU Cummins, Perkins, and Scania generator sets.

You will be part of the occasional call-out rota within your region.

The Diesel Generator Field Service Engineer package details:

  • Excellent salary, negotiable depending on experience.

  • 40-hour week with overtime

Knowledge of electrical fault finding or component replacement would be a distinct advantage, as would any experience with diesel engine/generator control panels, along with 18th Edition / City & Guilds 2391; however, this is not essential - product-specific training and development will be provided!

Engineers must be able to provide a high level of customer service and be willing to learn.
