RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Birmingham based charity client to recruit a Part Time Head of Finance on a permanent basis. Our client will consider applicants who are looking between 22.5 - 30 hours per week. Main duties include:

• Producing Management accounts with commentary
• Reporting key information to the CEO to ensure that accurate decisions are based on sound financial reporting and figures
• Ensuring financial controls and reporting is in place
• Compiling the annual budget and forecasting reports
• Liaison with auditors to ensure the organisation is compliant
• Continuously improving processes and systems in place to ensure controls are in place
• Preparing quarterly budgets
• Working in collaboration with wider non finance stakeholders
• Business Partnering with external personnel and ensuring that the organisation's position is compliant and up to date with relevant legislation

This role is working from home with office travel required once per week. You will possess experience working as either a Number one or two in an SME setting preferably in the Third Sector however, candidates from outside of the sector will be considered. You will be the main point of contact in Finance and will work closely with the CEO in advising and reporting key financial information.
