Finance Business Partner

RM Recruit are delighted to recruit a Finance Business Partner on behalf of our Birmingham based charity client on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to stamp your mark in a forward thinking organisation where duties include:

  • Providing commentary at month end to internal and external stakeholders
  • Variance analysis including relevant adjustments
  • Translating complex finance information to non finance stakeholders
  • Strengthening the relationship between the team, budget holders and other key personnel in the organisation
  • Working collaboratively with the senior leadership team in providing advice and accurate information to base key decisions
  • You will work closely with the finance team to ensure that the information produced is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that you are liaising with key stakeholders, finance colleagues and other key personnel
  • Provide commentary on key information, management accounts and variance analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Budget analysis
  • Providing guidance and advice to budget holders and empowering them to manage their own budget
  • Being a positive influence on budget holders and accurately keeping them informed on up to date information

As the ideal candidate, you will possess strong experience in a business partnering capacity and more so, possess excellent liaison with senior stakeholders. Candidates who are from inside the Not For Profit sector are preferred given the nature of the role, however, those with proven commercial and excellent communication skills will most definitely be considered.

You will be ACA/CIPFA/ACMA Qualified, however candidates either working towards qualification will be considered coupled with study support offered in exceptional cases. Candidates who are qualified by experience who possess the above requisite experience, will also be considered.

Our client is on the lookout for a proven business partner where you will be able to come on board and hit the ground running. The role is a 50% split of home and office working.
