Stores Operative
Title: Stores Operative Location: Cambridge Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 3:30pm Offer: £23,000 - £24500 Optional Overtime, including benefits (pension, holiday, sick pay) We are currently seeking a Stores Operative to join our leading Fibre and Telecoms client! You’ll be based at their Cambridge Depot, tasked with safely managing their Fibre and Telecoms equipment at the depot.
Responsibilities:- Follow H&S procedures, around workplace and moving vehicles
- Keep all materials safe and in good condition. Look for ways to improve the way that materials are stored to promote swift materials movements, prevent damage, and support health and safety
- Keeping the yard and warehouses tidy and well organised
- Maintain stock levels and condition
- Issue and record stock incoming/outgoing
- Load / Unload vehicles
- Ensure all materials movement documents are filed and movements recorded on stock control software
Essential Requirements:- Previous experience in Stock / Warehouse / Stores environment
- Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements- Forklift Licence - Counter Balance / Reach / Tele
