Field Service Engineer
Permanent role offering: £30,000 salary / 40hrs a week (Overtime also available)
Location: Cornwall (Field based)

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our client, a leader in intelligent Traffic Equipment, Traffic Communications, Electronic Signage and EV Chargers / Smart Charging!

They’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to be based around Cornwall, you must have previous experience in a Field based role, you must hold or be in the process of obtaining a CSCS card and MUST hold a Full UK driving license.
 
You will be responsible for providing ongoing service support and planned preventative maintenance of Smart Charging products across Cornwall. Therefore, some of your key responsibilities will be to maintain the equipment, which will also include installation duties and visual inspection of the equipment, testing of the charging mode protocols and cleaning of the product after etc.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Experience of PC’s and networking environments
• Electrical field service experience
• Technical qualifications relevant to the role
• Methodical fault finding skills
• Ability to work on own; but be a part of a team
• Be able to work in a pressured, client controlled environment.
• Be prepared to spend a large amount of time driving from site to site.
• Willingness to travel further afield including flights and nights away from home.
  

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license is a necessity, please do not apply without a FULL UK License!
• Current holder, or in the process of obtaining a CSCS Card
• Electrical qualifications required
• C&G 2919-01 EV Charging Point course desirable
