Domestic Properties, Social Housing 60% and Commercial/Retail 40%
London – working local to where you live within a 15 mile radius!
Permanent £33,000 - £37,000 (dependent on experience)
+ Bonus scheme 10% of salary KPI related (safe driving, wearing uniform etc.)

My established Electrical Contracting client is seeking a number of Lighting & Fire Electrician’s to join them on a permanent basis throughout London! My client has approximately 70 Electrician’s working for them across London and Home counties, all covering roughly a 15 mile radius from where they live, serving their Domestic and Commercial customers.

Works will include surveying, installing, and commissioning emergency lighting systems and domestic fire detection systems, composed of mains powered smoke and heat detectors linked to wireless gateways.

Opportunity of promotion and heading up a team or supervisory roles available, depending on your performance. On occasion you will have an Electricians Mate helping you to complete paperwork and 1st and 2nd fixes.

Responsibilities & Experience:

• Responsible for completing works assigned to you and reporting major issues immediately
• Experience with emergency lighting systems
• Experience with Aico mains powered fire detection systems Have a good understanding of electrical systems and the certification of systems
• Document all relevant information accurately and in a timely manner
• Experience in the completion of electrical, emergency lighting and fire detection certification.

 
Required:

• ESSENTIAL Fully Qualified Electrician qualifications (NVQ level 3, JIB, AM2)
• ESSENTIAL Full UK Driving Licence (held for at least 12 months)
• DESIRABLE Level 3 Test and Inspection qualification (2391)

 
Great company to work for, family run business, 70 electricians covering London and Home Counties working in their own patch. The company aims to keep you close to home, as they’d rather pay you for completing Electrical works rather than sitting in London traffic. There will be very rare occasions where youll be asked to travel outside your work radius.
