Contract Manager (Sussex)
Title: Contract ManagerLocation: SussexOffer: Permanent £40,000 including company vehicle and benefits package
We are seeking a Contract Manager to join my established, award-winning Landscaping and Ground Maintenance company based in Sussex! You will be primarily supporting Ground Maintenance work for Housing Associations, seeking opportunity to grow the contracts, including growth of new contracts starting later this year!
You will be required to work closely with Supervisors and other Managers to ensure the contract requirements are exceeded. As well as this, you will also be required to manage the responsive areas of the contract, including budget and cost control and client liaison.
Responsibilities:- Using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
- Develop key business relationships with all relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities
- Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure a winning mentality
- Have a strong financial awareness and ability to understand accounts, i.e. P&L
- Familiar with Management Accounts would be advantageous
- Responsible for estimating and pricing work for clients
- Travelling to depots and sites across Sussex.
Requirements:- Full UK Driving License
- Experience of managing contracts and resources and delivering to budget and performance targets
- Desirable holder of relevant CMI/NVQ or other Care/Business/Management Qualification
- Experience Contract Managing in Grounds and Garden Maintenance or Landscaping industries
