Location: HYBRID between Gloucester office and home working 2/3 days a week

My client, a leader in Highway Construction and Highway Maintenance are currently seeking a Programme Manager to join them on a permanent basis at their site in Gloucester! Hybrid working is optional for this role 2/3 days working from home.

As a Programme manager you will be responsible for planning, managing and co-ordinating all operational activities by working with both internal and client contract managers to determine gaps in the overall programme and effectively use the resources available to maximise profit.
 
Strong communications skills and client relationships management will be the key to your success in this role. You will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining these relationships, ensuring delivery of works.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Have experience managing works on high-volume contracts
  • Responsible for assisting the commercial finance team with forecasting and managing programmes
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
  • Maintain organisational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
  • Ability to challenge both client and contractor on actions and deadlines
 
Skills & Qualifications required:
  • Must be able to crunch data, stripping out unwanted information and formatting, translating data into the required format and structuring it ready for analysis
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relatable Management positions
  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction would be desirable
  • Build strong relationships and lead teams of internal and External colleagues.
