Location: Home-based (part-time, circa 20 hours per week)

Salary Range: circa.£25,000 - £32,000 (pro-rata, depending on experience) + benefits

SME business specialising in the housebuilding sector with a strong reputation for delivering quality and service, operating on projects throughout the UK.

The Role:

As the Sales Administrator for our SME construction/housebuilding client, you will play a crucial role in supporting the MD by engaging with potential clients and facilitating the sales process. Your primary objectives will include following up on leads, conducting research to identify key decision-makers, and scheduling meetings for senior colleagues. Your contributions will be essential to driving sales and enhancing customer relationships within the housebuilding sector.

What you will be doing:

  • Following up on various leads generated and sales initiatives to ensure timely engagement.
  • Conducting thorough research on potential clients to accurately identify key decision-makers and appropriate contact information.
  • Reaching out to identified client contacts to schedule sales meetings on behalf of senior colleagues, ensuring a seamless introduction.
  • Assisting in preparing sales reports and presentations by compiling data and insights that support sales strategies.
  • Collaborating with senior colleagues to develop and refine sales strategies based on feedback and market research.
  • Managing the logistics of sales meetings, including scheduling, coordinating locations, and preparing necessary materials.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team, including filing, document preparation, and correspondence management.
  • Monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the development of basic marketing materials, such as email campaigns and promotional content, to enhance sales efforts and engagement.

About you:

  • Previous experience working in the housebuilding-related sector is essential.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based environment.
  • Proficient in using various software applications for research and reporting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
