Location: Coventry (hybrid/flexible working)

Salary Range: £46,000 - £54,000 (depending on experience) + benefits

The Role:

As the Operations Manager for our SME client, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of various projects the company is engaged in. Your primary objectives will include general management of the operational team, recruiting and training a Management structure to lead our clients' field team, and optimising processes while ensuring the implementation of quality assurance measures. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing client needs to improve the overall success of projects, working closely with clients.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervising and managing the day-to-day activities of multiple off-site projects.
  • Collaborating with a junior manager to facilitate the efficient training and advancement of the operational team.
  • Managing the allocation of our personnel resources.
  • Utilising appropriate systems to simplify processes, improve effectiveness, and maintain precise project records.
  • Identifying areas with potential for enhancement and executing remedies to refine project workflows.
  • Fostering and sustaining robust client relationships, tending to their requirements and ensuring contentment.
  • Serving as a primary contact for clients, addressing concerns and furnishing frequent project updates.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams, nurturing a culture of cooperation and transparent communication.
  • Supporting our client's growth initiatives in close coordination with the leadership team.
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of projects and operations.
  • Regularly furnishing progress reports to the leadership team regarding project status and performance vis-à-vis targets.

About you:

  • Demonstrated track record in overseeing operations, particularly within a compliance, accreditation, or construction-related sector.
  • Profound understanding of project procedures, quality assurance, and project supervision.
  • Acquaintance with pertinent systems, with prior exposure to similar systems considered beneficial.
  • Outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership proficiencies.
