Are you a talented Account Manager, or are you aiming to be one?

The Role:
In the Account Manager role you'll report to the Sales Director and will be primarily responsible for managing both preexisting as well as prospective clients in quoting, converting, and booking in projects for the business.

Specific tasks include:

  • Regular contact with existing customers to develop the spend, frequency of use and profitability for the company under the guidance of the Sales Director
  • Going the extra mile to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention
  • Using own initiative to maximise the gross profit margin of all customer jobs
  • Closely working with production colleagues to ensure job information is entered correctly and run smoothly to adhere to deadlines

This position is based in the company's Birmingham office, so please ensure that's within a reasonable commutable distance for you before you apply.


The Candidate:
To be the right person for this Account Manager role you will need direct experience in the use of packages similar to Salesforce or Tharstern. We also need you to have prior experience of working in a fast paced Sales or Account Management environment.

It's also essential that you've got experience around managing a client sales funnel mixing business development duties with Account Management tasks.

It's important that you also have the following:

  • Experience working in a busy Sales and Account Management environment managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong professional client relationship management skills
  • The attributes to personally ensure tasks are completed, taking ownership as part of a wider collaborative team

You'll also need to be the following:

  • A strong communicator with the ability to ability to liaise with colleagues and clients effectively
  • A real team player, happy to provide support to other members, positive team attitude and willing to assist to complete team workload
  • Someone with a real eye for detail, able complete work without the need for supervision and work to deadlines

The Package:
The basic salary for the Account Manager role salary range is between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum significant commission structure.

In addition you can earn a personal performance bonus in the role if you hit your targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
