The Role:

In the Site Manager role you'll report to the Contracts Director and will be primarily responsible for the satisfactory delivery of works for clients around Construction areas including refurbishment, build, dilapidation and maintenance needs.

Specific tasks include:

• Delivery of works schedules on-time and budget
• Overseeing sub contractors working on the project
• The day-to-day management of clients and their needs/queries

This is a field-based role covering mainly the Warwickshire region (also wider West Midlands from time to time), so if field-based work doesn't suit you please do not apply. You will be provided a company van for use.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Site Manager role you will need direct experience of manging construction related work schedules.

We also need you to have prior experience of:

• General trade work, a carpentry related background would be particularly useful (but not essential)
• Working closely with an end client, strong rapport building skills and general communication
• Working with, overseeing and maintaining the quality provided by sub-contractors

It's important that you also have the following:

• Demonstrable experience in a site supervisory / manager role
• Hands-on trade experience, this is not a purely 'management' or supervisory role, you will be getting hands-on
• Good people management skills

You'll also need to be the following:

• Proficient in areas around health and safety within the workplace
• Open minded in your approach to work, happy to be flexible in the delivery to meet your customers needs
• Driven to exceed expectations, realising that happy customers lead to repeat business

The Package:

The basic salary for the Site Manager role is between £30,000 - £36,000 per annum.
