Overview:
- Managing a c.£40m annual spend across Fixed & Deployable side steps, TPE Mats, Injection Mouldings amongst others
- Purchasing project member for delivering a 10% BOM cost reduction resulting in a £5.4m saving 20/21 FY
- Responsible for ongoing supply and capacity uplifts to meet increased demand on new vehicle
- Delivered c.£1m saving on the delivery of a streamlined supply chain for PM2.5 filters
- Led cross functional complex group projects to rationalise and reduce complexity product offering whilst providing significant savings to the business (Fixed side steps/Spare Wheel Covers/Mats)
- Created negotiation strategies to counter lump sum claims up to £2m from supply base
- Frequent engagement with stakeholders including engineering, marketing, design and supply chain in the UK, China and US
- Established tools for continuous improvement in data management
