- Reporting to Financial Controller, responsible for delivering effective financial management and cost control to manage rapid growth and ensure financial stability.

- Produce accurate and timely financial / management reporting and insightful analysis for Senior Management, Group, private equity investors, and stakeholders to support decision making.  

• Assist budgeting and forecasting process, monitor and review performance, and set meaningful KPIs.
• Carried out continuous reviews and improvements to systems / processes to improve efficiency and ensure accurate and meaningful reporting.
• Conducted internal audit and prepared year end audit file in conjunction with external auditors.
• Drafted comprehensive annual budgets, yearly insurance declarations, ten-year strategic capital plans, quarterly forecasts and detailed unit financial reports.
• Manage Fixed Asset Register of £100m, tracked all capital spending against approved capital requests.

Manufacturing (Engineering)                  Ass Financial Controller (2010 – 2017)

• Key member of management team, reporting to Financial Controller and responsible for financial management / control, annual budget preparation / reporting, analysis / management of variances, and providing finance support to internal / external stakeholders.
• Led costing analysis / reporting on commercial contracts to ensure profitability delivered and maintained.
• Headed up Finance Team of 5 staff (Purchase Ledger Controller / Assistant Accountant, Payroll / Credit Control and Sales / Admin). 
• Ensured all statutory / regulatory returns submitted to deadline including UK/German/Dutch/Italian VAT, EU Sales / Office of National Statistics.
• Delivered continuous system improvements to ensure accurate investigation and analysis of data, collaborating with IT team and software providers to improve data extraction and reporting. 
• Managed and controlled sales / purchase ledgers, fixed asset register, leasing schedules, and authorised payments and payroll.
• Headed up and prepared data for Sustainability meetings.
