Our client is currently seeking a Head of Electrical Generation to be an integral and key member of their Senior Management team. As part of the role, the successful candidate must be ambitious and keen to establish themselves as a senior figure. Within the business.

The Role:

The successful Head of Electrical Generation will form part of the senior management team at an already well establish energy business and you will be expected to participate in the ongoing refinement of the strategic direction of the business.

This role will suit someone who has a thorough understanding of Solar PV and who is ready to take that next step in their career path to become part of a Senior Management Team. You would have ideally led installation teams or project managed multiple Solar Photovoltaic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a senior figure within the business, you will assist the Head of Sales in driving our client base to £15m of projects within the next 3 years
• You will be responsible for progressively recruiting key people to deliver the solar PV projects across the UK.
• You will form part of the senior leadership team and will be expected to participate in the ongoing refinement of the strategic direction of the business.
• You will be responsible for transitioning the business from partly using sub-contractors to bringing the installation fully in-house
• Be the CDM lead on site
• Ongoing Recruitment of your division

Personal Attributes/Professional Experience required

• You will either have experience of the installation of Solar Photovoltaics or Project Managed but ultimately you will know how to deliver a successful Commercial Solar PV installation project.
• You will be commercially strong and have experience of leading a Solar team of installers
• Experience of design, tenders and project management
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Experience of site RAMS associated with the installation of both solar PV (ground and roof mounted)
• Electrically qualified to include Solar PV qualifications/experience

Remuneration:

• Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (OTE £78,000)
