I am excited to be working on a LEAD / Senior DEVELOPER (UE4) opportunity in the UK. We are working with an exciting successful gaming tech company that is building the next generation of media content that is revolutionizing the way we consume content online - and we are tasked with building a new development Hub (R&D) in the UK!

Our first Hire is for a Snr / lead Developer with "ninja like" Unreal engine Skills. The Senior Developer will build an exciting platform that allows everyone to clip their most exciting virtual moments in the game or in any metaverse scene, share it, and have others play it to create their own outcomes and experiences - EXCITING RIGHT!!

We Require

• Min 4 years of solid experience with Unreal engine / C Development
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing videogames / platforms or VR or AI or Video Streaming Platforms
• Lead experince a big plus
• SDK Plugin
• Advantage: knowledge of Data-Oriented Design
• Advantage: experience in Unity

What you'll do:

• Build an Unreal plugin in C++ .
• Collaborate with game developers to introduce functionality specific for their game mechanics.
• Implement new features taking into account ease of integration, performance, and scalability.
• Develop in an agile, fast-paced environment, having a direct impact on the product trajectory.
• Mentor, pair, and delegate work to encourage the professional and technical growth of those around you.

As a Lead Unreal Developer you'll join a rapidly growing company as part of the NEW UNREAL SDK Plugin Team, building the next Gen Unreal Platform. This role will suit Unreal Engine Gurus who would love the opportunity to build and run the Unreal Team from a greenfield environment, defining how team looks and feels and operates. It will also suit an established Snr Unreal Developer who has mentored Jnrs and now looking for the Next step up into Tech lead. My client is looking for the best in market, so skills and attributes are all equally important. My client has flexibility on Salary to secure the right talent, plus a great bens package including Stock options and is Fully UK Remote.
