We are partnering exclusively with a one of Europe's Leading MS Consultancies leading the way in Modern Workplace and Azure Cloud Solutions. We are looking for a Azure Cloud Solutions Engineers to join the Professional services team (Post-Sales) working on Enterprise clients. My client Offers Work from home with travel when required (and Superb Modern office space in Northampton and Wiltshire (Bath) available for use).
As an Azure Cloud solutions engineer you will be responsible for planning, deploying, migrating, and documenting cloud solutions for our clients. As a Solutions engineer your primary focus will be on designing architectures and implementing project work to best practices, along with monitoring system performance, troubleshooting & rationalisation of legacy systems. Collaboration and communication with all key stake holders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions & services. This role requires a deep understanding of Cloud technologies including Cloud security solutions along with a passion for staying up to date with the latest advancements in the Azure cloud computing domain.
Experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3 yrs plus as a AZURE Cloud Solutions Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cloud solutions.
* In-depth knowledge of Azure / Microsoft 365 services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Networking, Storage Accounts, Security Center, Azure AD and Microsoft 365 environment.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based deployments.
* Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in Azure Cloud Security, with a strong understanding of Azure security services and configurations.
* Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
* Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPN, VNET, ExpressRoute, and firewall configurations in Azure and M365.
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
* Knowledge of identity and access management, role-based access controls (RBAC), and security best practices in Azure.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Cloud environments.
* Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
