About the role

Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Birmingham city centre based client in their search for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a growing finance team and will be tasked with taking ownership of the sales ledger function of the business. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with the ability to manage their own workload and with the desire to become a key member of a successful finance function.

Requirements

Daily duties and experience required includes:

• Minimum of 12 months experience of working as a Sales Ledger Clerk or similar level position

• Ability to perform reconciliations with large numbers of transactions

• Allocating payments

• Raising invoices

• Query resolution

• Credit control

• Supporting wider finance including purchase ledger department

• Able to perform pivots/V look ups
