About the role
Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Coventry based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a successful payroll function and will be responsible for taking ownership of a payroll from start to finish for 1000+ employees. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with a passion for payroll and demonstrable experience of working in a dynamic team environment. Due to the current climate the successful candidate will be given full I.T. support to work from home until it is deemed safe to return to their offices.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
• Minimum of three years experience managing both weekly and monthly payrolls
• Processing starters and leavers
• Calculating holiday and national insurance
• Query resolution
• Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
• Pensions knowledge
• Manual calculations experience
• Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
