Project Manager – Transitions

Our client, a fast-growing global pharmaceutical company with offices in the UK, and globally is currently looking for an ambitious and experienced Project Manager to join its team.

You must be commutable to the client’s Basildon HQ, as the team will be working in the office a couple of times per week with the rest of the working week spent at home once restrictions allow.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will help to run projects with cross functional teams such as Technical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturing Organisation.

As a Project Manager, you will be an analytical and logical problem solver who is used to delivering multiple projects and to be considered for this role you must be an experienced Project manager who has worked the full project lifecycle. You will also:

  • Take responsibility for project management and tracking of key Technical Transfer and Regulatory projects, following product acquisition.
  • Have the ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that the department apply an integrated approach to project planning across the transitions team
  • Be able to ensure accurate reporting of project performance to senior stakeholders and other members of the organisation
  • Have a track record of building of professional relationships with partner companies via defined communication channels on a global level.
  • Any experience of mentoring and coaching Junior staff would be welcomed, and you should be able to conduct objective setting and annual reporting as required

You will be tasked with creating and delivering project plans in alignment with cross-functional teams as well as setting up regular meetings for key project workstreams to facilitate knowledge exchange between team members and follow-up on actions

Successful project managers will have the gravitas to hold cross-functional teams to account on actions on deliverables and be used to organising and scheduling meetings both internally and externally

Once restrictions allow travel may be required with the role within and outside the UK, dependent on the project, but on a very ad-hoc basis
