Our client, a fast-growing global pharmaceutical company with offices in the UK, and globally is currently looking for an ambitious and experienced Project Manager to join its team.
You must be commutable to the client’s Basildon HQ, as the team is working in the office a couple of times per week with the rest of the working week spent at home.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will help to run projects with cross functional teams such as Technical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturing Organisation.
You will be analytical and logical problem solver who is used to delivering multiple projects and to be considered for this role you must have:
Experience of creating, monitoring, and talking responsibility for project plans in alignment with the cross-functional teams
Experience in coaching and mentoring Associate Project Managers to help them perform efficiently on a day-to-day basis. You will also be able to conduct objective setting and annual reporting responsibilities of associate Project managers
The ability to and had experience in delivering multiple projects from end-to-end to stringent timelines
The ability to setup and lead regular meetings for key project workstreams to facilitate knowledge exchange between team members and follow-up on actions
Experience in holding cross teams to account on actions on deliverables
The ability to update project management tools, such as trackers, project plans, decision logs, etc on a regular basis
Organized and led meetings both internally and externally, preparing agendas, taking minutes, recording, and following up on actions.
The ability to organise and lead regular connections with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organiations) for project updates and issue mitigation
The ability to provide a pro-active approach to problem-solving within the projects and assist the company to deliver on its commercial goals
Experience in reporting progress of projects in regular meetings to line managers, senior stakeholders, and executives
You will have some experience of project management in a fast-paced environment, with experience in pharmaceuticals being welcomed but by no means essential.
