Project Manager – Software Implementation

My client a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-quality pharmaceutical testing equipment and software is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with Software implementation expertise.

The successful Project Manager will have many years of working with customers and implementing complex software solutions. To be considered for this role, you will need to have a number of years of project management experience and have implemented complex software solutions whilst also

  • Having experience defining complex User Requirements Specifications
  • Being able to manage the full project lifecycle and have the ability to analyse and understand data and trends.
  • Having any knowledge of working with Self-Regulatory Organisations (SRO)
  • Having any knowledge of working with Manufacturing Execution Software, Windows based and SQL systems
  • Being able to support Product Management in the seamless transition of new product developments by developing user requirement specifications for key customer requests / customisation and handing this over to Product Management
  • Have the ability support the development and implementation of training courses for user and sales training.
  • Regularly review project-related internal processes and play an active role in improving these
  • Be able to coordinate with the head of Business Units and the Head of Product Management to define projects needs
  • Develop project plans, document project progress, and create monthly status reports

Based primarily based in the UK HQ in Foston, Derbyshire 3-4 days per week it would be advantageous for you to have had experience of working with software solutions within for Pharmaceuticals and / or healthcare, but my client will look at applications from other sectors

You will be required to travel to client sites in the UK and internationally, when restrictions allow, to support sales colleagues to consult with customers and also help with the complex implementations for new and existing clients

The successful Project Manager will work within a team of PMs and other colleagues based across the UK and Europe and you will be an expert that has the ability to communicate with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.

You will be travelling no more than 30% of the time to client sites and you will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary, contributory pension, company credit card and company phone and laptop.
