We are partnered with an SME sized Cyber Security Practice in Switzerland that have gone through significant growth over the last 18 months even throughout the pandemic and are now looking to add a talented Network Security Architect (Checkpoint F5 Palo Alto) to the team. They offer a fantastic benefits package, extensive support to attain additional certifications and have a flexible working policy. My client are looking for an excellent standard of German language and you must have the right to work in Switzerland.
They have two locations in Switzerland across Zurich and Bern, you will be needed for occasional office visits/Customer visits when necessary eg implementation phase of the project but other than this they are comfortable with flexible working.
The role
In summary as a Network Security Architect (Checkpoint F5 Palo Alto Fortinet) you will be operating in a Full Project Life Cycle capacity involved in everything from architecture, design, implementation and operational support. Current % split is around 70% Project work and 30% high level operational work. Project consists of client visits/video call to assess the needs of the environment, creating proposals with the sales team and once signed off creating both HLDs and LLDs. This would then be followed by working with the team to implement the solutions which could be across a wide range of Network Security Vendors including but not limited to Checkpoint, Fortinet, Bluecoat, F5 and Palo Alto. As a client they are extremely flexible on the vendors they utilise for solutions so if you have a recommendation for another vendor that fits the customer brief then they are happy to proceed with it.
