We have been instructed on behalf of a large Cyber Practice in Germany that have signed on a number of unique opportunities. My client are a world renowned name and are looking to build an agile Cyber team that have the opportunity to cross train into a variety of areas including Incident Response/Blue Teaming, Penetration Testing/Red Teaming and Threat Hunting/intelligence. They are in the process of a global transformation to become more product centric and are seeking to create a team of all rounders who can support complex projects across Germany.
The ideal candidate will come from either an Incident Response or Penetration Testing background that has a desire to cross train into the other area. They will support this through onsite coaching, certification support and external training support. You will be involved in a wide range of activities from Incident Response/Blue Teaming handling ransomware cases and malware reverse engineering through to Red Teaming and Pen Testing diverse environments to identify vulnerabilities for customers.
For Incident Response Professionals
- 3+ years of professional experience in cyber investigations, incident response, digital forensics or related
- Experience investigating ransomware and business email compromise incidents
- Ability to manage multiple projects and the potentially competing demands between them
- Consultancy / professional services experience
- Extensive experience of working with digital forensics tools
- Experience of recovering / decrypting client data as part of ransomware response
- Experience with Unix / Linux, Mac and an understanding of Active Directory, firewalls, and network layers and protocols
- Strong verbal and written level of English
- Experience presenting report findings and recommendations
- Knowledge of current data collection, storage, and chain of custody best practices
For Penetration Testers
- Deliver technical scoping documentation for vulnerability assessment & penetration testing services:
- Deliver vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services to customers (network, infrastructure and application);
- Complete of code reviews for applications;
- Deliver vulnerability assessment and penetration testing reports;
- Support security operations in the delivery of enterprise vulnerability assessment;
- Liaise with external organisations delivering vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Support sales and service teams in penetration testing services;
- Deliver vulnerability assessment and penetration testing training to security teams.
