This role has come about due to acquisition, which has been met very positively indeed. Our clients have acquired another Business wtih ~350 people, and everyone needs to transition over.

This is a 6-12month expected contract, fully remote though with occasional travel to meetings and has a fantastic day rate for the right person.

Working within the IT Workstream, this role will provide architectural guidance and solutions required for the separation and integration of one UK entity to another. This person will be the key liaison across technology teams and will be responsible for ensuring that the technology solution is defined, documented and accepted.

Key Accountabilities

• You will be required to:
• Define and document solutions to support IT separation and integration as part of a Transitionary Services Agreement (TSA)
• Lead Cloud migration of infrastructure
• Articulate options for integrating an existing standalone conveyancing solution into the UK systems ecosystem
• Quantify options regarding effort, cost, and do-ability within the current technology landscape

Knowledge and Skills

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years demonstrable experience working as an IT Solution Architect complex financial services programs of work via Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Previous experience in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on IT separation and integration as part of a Transitionary Services Agreement (TSA)
• Cloud migrations to AWS
• Active Directory migration
• Integration patterns
• Cloud hosted Telephony solutions (nice to have)
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and break complex problems into manageable parts.
