The Client:

Progressive lender with a highly cerebral team of Analysts and Decision Scientists based in the East Midlands. Their own decision engine, R, SQL, Advanced Analytics and a great working environment coupled with an excellent on-prem policy of 1-2 days per week. Perhaps more initially whilst bedding in. This role sits on a wave of growth in the Business, it’s a new role with real prospects in an ever-evolving and well regarded firm.

The role:

• End to end ownership of the collections contact strategies (pre-recoveries)
• Responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of Collection strategies to ensure the delivery of commercial outcomes
• Design and deploy collection strategies within a champion / challenger framework.
• Design and produce MI to monitor portfolio performance against objectives and budget.
• Ensure Collections strategies deliver Good Customer Outcomes
• Monitor collection strategy deployment to ensure strategies are deployed as prescribed
• Ensuring all strategies are compliant with external regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite, working with Conduct Risk as needed.

You:

• Advanced understanding of collection strategies and forbearance tools.
• Proven track record in effective management of Champion/Challenger testing
• Strong presentation skills including ability to explain complex strategies / data.
• Excellent leadership skills, embedding a ‘customer first’ attitude across all areas of collections strategy and maintaining a motivated and productive team.
• Passionate about the power of data to drive better business outcomes for our customers
• SQL or use of any other Analytics / Coding tool
• Ideally / Nice to have: skills in R, Decision Engine experience, Scorecard experience, ERM experience and understanding
