The Role:

You will work on a small number of projects concurrently, from early engagement with clients and proposal development to delivering investigations, developing software models, and reporting outcomes. You will encounter a broad range of cutting-edge research in information and intelligence, particularly in the areas of AI and autonomy.

Responsibilities include:

• Define research tasks to achieve research goals.
• Deliver research together with specialist technical teams.
• Coordinate and oversee research delivery by subcontractors.
• Provide consultancy services to their wider client-base.
• Contextualize research by applying knowledge of planning, developing, and testing C2 and/or ISR processing techniques, technologies, and information systems.

You:

• Strong academic qualifications with a degree/PhD in a mathematically orientated subject
• Experience in the development of relevant techniques or technology (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, knowledge graphs, data science), preferably in the Defence/Security sector.
• Software development experience.
• Able to build trusted relationships and to rapidly establish a reputation for enthusiasm, delivery, and reliability.
• Confident working autonomously, and taking ownership of delivery.
• Keen to learn and work flexibly outside of your primary area of expertise.

Due to the nature of the work that our client undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting
