BI Analyst

The Role:

The role initially sits in Credit Risk / Collections – developing MI for the team to report to the Board. Once this is embedded and automated, the role will move to wider Business, developing MI / BI reports for the wider Business and involvement and exposure across the board, reporting into other Business areas.

• Developing automated Collections Strategy, Portfolio and Operational MI to support better understand trends, performance bottlenecks and guide business decisions
• Producing,maintaining and automating operations analysis reports to drive insight and improve performance
• Supporting the wider operations team with data analysis to guide business decisions
• Presenting analysis and insight to senior level colleagues
• Using data to build models to support capacity forecasting for operations

Requirements:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills using logical reasoning and analytical methods
• Power BI experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Experience automating MI

Desirable Technical Skills

• Experience of a programming or data query language beyond SQL (ideally R)
• Awareness of operations/collections experience within a financial services or retail lending environment
