Senior QA Engineer

Surrey (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office)

£70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus

Our client is a global Insurance business and is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join the company evolving the portfolio of products from desktop/ on-premise to a cloud/ SaaS environment.

Responsibilities:

• Define test strategies for features or whole applications
• Establish test environments and frameworks
• Collaborate with developers to achieve high levels of test automation
• Develop tests from unit to whole system and UX
• Execute manual and automated tests
• Test reporting, both manual and automated
• Work with the whole development team in its Agile process and contribute to improvement
• Be involved early in the development cycle to improve quality
• Investigate new tools and techniques, share best practice with other teams

Experience/ skills:

• Prior QA expertise
• C# or Java
• Selenium/ API-level test automation
• Agile/Scrum development lifecycle
• SaaS - bonus
