What's the role?

Do you want to change the world? Come and build robots with us and change the way the world gets constructed. In this leadership role, you will be heading up a team researching construction robotics and visual computing methods to automate the future jobsite. This position is based in the Research Group, located in Schaan, Liechtenstein.

What does the role involve?

We are looking for a head of robotics and visual computing to help us build great research concepts and innovations in the field of construction.
To be successful in this role, you should be confident managing teams while, at the same time, setting goals, budgets and timelines for various projects. We also expect you to build extensive networks between internal business units and with external partners, and drive roadmap definitions and strategies aligned with multiple stakeholders.
Ultimately, you’ll make sure we develop innovative technologies that maximize our impact and help our company grow.

What you need is:

  • Masters/PhD degree in Visual Computing (or related fields) and/or Robotics. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Visual Computing with applications in Robotics
  • Leadership experience with 10+ years of demonstrated growth in product development and/or engineering research with applications in Visual Computing
  • Excellent project management skills and a good strategic mind
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English with an ease to initiate new connections with various groups inside and outside the organization
  • No prior knowledge of construction applications needed, analytical mindset and willingness to learn job site challenges is highly desirable
