The Role:

As an Insurance Account Handler in their commercial insurance team, you will play a key role in managing and nurturing relationships with clients, brokers, and insurers. You will assist with the day-to-day servicing of client accounts, from new business quotes to renewals and mid-term adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts, ensuring the highest level of service is delivered at all times.
  • Prepare and process insurance quotations, ensuring the best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Liaise with insurers, brokers, and clients to gather information and resolve any issues or queries.
  • Assist with the placement and renewal of commercial insurance policies.
  • Handle mid-term adjustments and assist clients with claims processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all insurance matters.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, customer-focused, and have a keen eye for detail. We are open to considering candidates with a background in personal lines insurance who are eager to expand their knowledge and skills in the commercial space.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and insurers.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in personal lines or commercial insurance is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
