Job Title: Claims Administrator (Group Risk)

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + 2 days WFH
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Administrator to join our clients dynamic team, supporting the administration of Group Risk claims for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with Claims Consultants to ensure the smooth processing of claims for Group Income Protection, Group Life, and Group Critical Illness policies.
You will be responsible for reviewing claims submissions, maintaining accurate records, liaising with insurers, and providing administrative support to ensure timely and efficient claims management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist claims consultants with all aspects of Group Risk claims, including Group Income Protection, Group Life, and Group Critical Illness claims.
- Review newly submitted claims to ensure that all necessary information is complete before submitting to insurers.
- Review and update monthly client claims reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Issue claim chasers and manage diary reminders in Outlook, ensuring that information and updates are chased regularly and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client and insurer emails, maintaining high levels of service.
- Review and issue monthly payment details to clients, ensuring they are correct and complete. Liaise with insurers as required to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support during monthly claim calls, taking notes and updating relevant spreadsheets.
- Update Outlook claim files and ensure that all client review folders are kept up to date for consultants when completing annual reviews.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within the insurance or claims industry.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and update claims and documentation accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and insurers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
