Based in the Agency's German HQ, the Executive Creative Director's role is supporting their clients and fulfilling their vision and who is responsible for the creative development of engagement platforms, both as an overarching umbrella and for their continuous activation in the various communication channels available (BTL). The ECD will be working and collaborating directly with the client, together with the relevant Client Services Director and occasional collaboration with other creative departments (e.g. architecture, digital), strategy, accounting and deployment teams and in addition to handling client briefings, you will also be expected to provide your own impulse proposals based on our insights and learnings. The Executive Creative Director will be responsible for the daily creative workflow of the team (up to 10 people) which is to be led and managed with a high demand on the creative result, as well as for the development of the individual employees and the entire team. As Executive Creative Director you bring your passion and creativity and excellence in brand understanding to the team, with expert knowledge in layout, design, typography, branding, text, corporate language, film, dramaturgy, photography, animation as well as digital and interactive, very good knowledge of English, and German is ideal but not mandatory.
The client you are working with are in restricted markets, and are running through one of their biggest transformation processes in the history of the FMCG industry, and the role of the Executive Creative Director is to understand the commercial and strategic imperatives driving their business and to recommend how the creative components can contribute to that process. The Executive Creative Director is able to provide demonstrable experience within this industry and restricted markets, beyond traditional advertising, and has advanced collaboration skills to work with different departments and markets, as well as excellent organisation skills to manage time and resources effectively.
Salary: £120K to £160K (DOE) plus bonus & benefits
Can be based in UK but Germany would be preferred
