Systems Administrator - Access Control Systems - City of London

£40,000 plus excellent benefits - based in a brand new corporate high rise on Liverpool Street

My client is a leading global investment banking company who now seek an experienced Systems Administrator - Access Control Systems to perform a task of system administrator for the company/buildings access control system.

Responsibilities for the Systems Administrator - Access Control Systemsinclude:

  • ID cards management, basic system programming, reporting, and assigning relevant access permissions.
  • Process tickets to provision/deprovision physical security access for cardholders.
  • Print new and replacement ID cards as required.
  • Triage and resolve issues with non-working ID cards.
  • Monitor and respond to Physical Security dashboard.
  • Follow up on emergency call placed, investigate terminated user access attempts.

Additional duties for the Systems Administrator - Access Control Systems:

  • Check physical security equipment functionality, report outages, and track remediation actions.
  • Create and update floor plans to reflect access control and CCTV equipment.
  • Update asset management platform for physical security equipment.
  • Assist with Internal Audit queries and remediation actions, and reporting.
  • Modify/create workflows for floor access, photo uploads, and other security requests.
  • Provide onsite assistance during the access control and/or CCTV work.
  • Automate access control reporting.
  • Assist with other Physical Security/Access Control Systems/IT projects as required.
