MuleSoft Architect - Glasgow (Initially Remote, Flexible Working post Covid)

£500 - £550 per day OUTSIDE IR35 - 6 months rolling - based initially remotely, with flexible working post Covid, but with occasional visits to their Glasgow office

Person requirements - Any UK Nationality or Right to Work in the UK experienced MuleSoft Architect required.

My client a well-known global IT Consultancy, seek an experienced MuleSoft Architect ideally with an abundance of Middleware/Integration experience and experience in designing and developing API's using MuleSoft Platform.

Experience required for the MuleSoft Architect position:

  • Overall 14+ years of Middleware/Integration experience and 7+ years of experience in designing and developing API's using MuleSoft Platform.
  • MuleSoft Architect specialized in architecture and implementation of solutions using MuleSoft/Cloud Hub Integration tools.
  • Experience in architecting distributed, multi-tier applications using Mule ESB.
  • Create Conceptual end to end integration deliverables, technical specification documents and recommend high quality solutions for the MuleSoft integration platform.
  • Excellent understanding of Architecture principles and ability to use them to simplify complex technical problems.
  • Blended experience in API/Cloud Integration/On-premises and cloud MuleSoft implementations.

Further experience required for the MuleSoft Architect position:

  • Experience in designing high availability environments with clustering, failover/recovery and load balancing strategies for multi-site implementations.
  • Experience in defining technical reference architecture for MuleSoft using MuleSoft API-led architecture and API first approach.
  • Experience in, Messaging (JMS), Web API - SOAP, REST and authentication methods such as OAuth and SAML.
  • Hands-on experience with open source and agile development tools such as GitHub or SVN, and Maven.
  • Experience on MuleSoft Cloud Hub, Anypoint Platforms.
  • Frame and implement best practices related to Mule ESB. Must be able to guide, mentor and train other team members on MuleSoft.
  • Must have excellent knowledge on administrative aspects of MuleSoft.

Additional duties for the MuleSoft Architect position:

  • Experience in reviewing Pull Request and resolving code merging conflicts.
  • Experience in monitoring MuleSoft using Splunk and/or any other tools.
  • Excellent Knowledge of different data format like (XML, JSON, Flat files etc.).
  • Experience in, Messaging (JMS), Web API - SOAP, REST and authentication methods such as OAuth and SAML.
  • Knowledge in setup MuleSoft on AWS Cloud.
  • Experience in agile and waterfall delivery projects.
