We’re recruiting an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Management Accountant to join an impressive team in an autonomous month end role on a permanent basis.
 
Our client has an impressive brand reputation and has experienced tremendous growth over the past 3 years. Their turnover is c.£170m with £40m EBITDA. We have a great relationship with the Senior Finance Manager, and this role will report into them in a small team.
 
After the pandemic, they converted to a work from home business, although they still expect you to come into the office once or twice a month for meetings.
 
the Management Accountant will be responsible for working alongside the Assistant Management Accountant to produce the monthly management accounts including variance analysis for business units under their remit. This will include working closely with various stake holders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Responsible for putting together the monthly management accounts including variance analysis against budget and forecasts
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the balance sheet and having explanations for any queries raised in monthly review meetings
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling 12-month forecasts
• Responsible for key weekly and monthly reporting
• Finance lead on commercial contract check lists
• Responsible for quarterly and annual commission calculations
• Working closely with the business to create ad-hoc financial reporting and answering queries
• Working with the business to streamline processes that affect the month-end process
• Preparation and support in the audit of financial statements (Internal and external)
• Deputising for Senior Finance Manager on matters in their absence
