Group Finance Manager
£60,000 - £65,000 + 10% Bonus, benefits & remote working
 
Aila is excited to be partnered with a leading global services business that has an impressive niche and excellent reputation, as we support them in the recruitment of an ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Finance Manager to join the team in a group function on a permanent basis, based near London Bridge.
 
Our client has an impressive brand reputation and has experienced tremendous growth over the past 5 years at c.10% each year. The last 18 months have been exceptional and they’re an exciting business to join. Private Equity backed and a true leader in their field globally, offering a supportive, fun and inclusive culture.
 
They have a global reach and are based in impressive offices in London Bridge, although they have a flexible and remote working policy without the need to go into the office regularly. Private equity backed, a turnover of c.£120m, and an employee headcount of c.250, with this expected to rise rapidly over the next 12 months.
 
The Finance Manager will work closely with the wider team to prepare and report accurate and timely management accounts, whilst ensuring internal controls are upheld.

We are looking for an ACCA/CIMA Qualified Management Accountant that has previously managed staff, is ambitious, driven and looking for a role where they can constantly be challenged in an ever-changing and fun environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group Financial Controller to prepare of the Group’s consolidated monthly management accounts and commentary
• Ensuring clean balance sheet accounts are maintained
• Managing, coaching and mentoring a team of three finance professionals
• Managing staff expenses and company credit cards processes
• Championing and suggesting process improvement and controls
• Analysing financial data for ad-hoc reporting
• Preparing audit readiness and liaising with external auditors
• Ad hoc duties including supporting the Financial Controller on additional projects

 
You will be a qualified accountant with experience in a group finance structure of a fast-paced and ever-changing business. You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years PQE with experience working in a busy finance team.
