C++ Software Developer

What You’ll Be Doing

With each day you will be working primarily on graphics projects. You will be responsible for writing plugins and creating extensive systems using C++ including greenfield projects. The C++ Software Engineer will be working with other C++ team members, and will use your knowledge to help role out new features and also work on a graphics engine built in Unreal.

What You’ll Need

Good C++ skills will be crucial for this role, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of performance and memory optimisation techniques, working with APIs, and Source Control (Git / GitHub) best practices are also important. Although the role will involve working heavily on Unreal Engine projects, experience with Unreal is not essential but nice to have. Other desirable skills and experience include: Graphics, Computer Vision, game development, 2D / 3D rendering, and video / media.

Being local to the area is crucial, though flexible working is implemented you will only be working from home one day per week.
