Being in control doesn’t make you a control freak.

You’re more than comfortable having a high level of autonomy, whilst simultaneously having the respect and support of a target driven department. You’ll be managing a team of tax seniors and associates, so you’ll understand what makes them tick and how to get the best out of them.

You’ll also be used to a lot of variety in your role and you don’t shy away from new, unfamiliar challenges.

Delivering change and staff development are disciplines you thrive in, with the express purpose of achieving the best possible outcomes.

What about the specific requirements?

Well, you’ll be an experienced qualified tax professional (ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or similar, or qualified by experience) with proven leadership skills.

You will have managed your own client portfolio of owner managed businesses and their proprietors including the preparation of company tax returns, partnerships tax returns and personal tax returns, including managing client relationships.

You will also be working closely with Directors, Partners and other managers at a strategic level, so you won’t be a shrinking violet. You’ll be able to communicate ideas for change and reports with confidence and clarity.
