Frontend Software Engineer

Do you thrive on finding new ways to build innovative software products?

If the answer is ‘yes’, then keep reading.

You’ll need to have excellent experience and working knowledge of React (or similar – Angular/Vue) and Gatsby. These are an absolute must for this role. Ideally, you will also have a background in working with Apollo GraphQL.

As well as the above you will be experienced in unit testing (preferably Jest and Cypress) and be familiar with CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent skills in software design, problem-solving and debugging means you’ll fit right in with an agile team of like-minded professionals.

Your duties will be primarily focussed around frontend development. This is where your expertise lies and that talent shouldn’t be wasted. You will also be expected to mentor other team members through pair programming and code reviews.

Additionally, you will plan, build, test, and release new features and experiments in TypeScript and React, as well as helping to solve the challenges that come with large-scale systems and lots of data.

The salary is on at £60,000 to £80,000 DOE, with a great benefits package attached. There’s remote working capabilities, particularly after you’ve completed your training. There will be the occasional need to travel to other sites in the UK.
