You’ll be a key player in helping install and maintain customised software across a number of sectors including medical, social care and engineering.
You’ll be coordinating and performing upgrades, installations and server migrations at customer sites. As the main point of contact for the Deployments team you will ensure exceptional customer service and aid with the ongoing training and support of your colleagues.
There are certain fundamentals for this position that should really go without saying, but we’ll mention them anyway.
You’ll have previous experience working with complex database systems and be very well versed in MS SQL Data Administration. It’s also essential that you have a background in installing software and web services on Windows server.
Furthermore, it would be to your advantage if you have a technical degree or equivalent qualification in a computer-based subject. Additionally, if you have local authority experience across IT, finance and social care that would be even better.
Enough about the requirements though – what’s in it for you?
You’ll be on £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. 25 days holiday (and your bank holidays), plus the option to buy 10 more. Not enough time off? You can take a 4-week sabbatical every 5 years too.
